Our Charitable Foundation

 The Edsel A Spellman Jr.  Mount Ararat Lodge Charitable Foundation, is the  the charitable arm of Mount Ararat Masonic Lodge, striving to embody the  values and traditions of Freemasonry by providing timely financial  assistance and support to individuals, families, and charitable organizations in Harford County and surrounding areas during times of need or crisis. 

The  foundation is a 501(c)3 that also works directly with schools throughout  Harford county to provide material support for students as needed. 

In 2020, the Brothers of Mount Ararat were faced with a challenge: How to support the community when we were not able to meet.  Under the leadership of Worshipful master Edsel Spellman Jr, it was decided a charitable foundation was needed to handle the lodge's good works even when the Brothers and officers could not meet as a whole.  

WM Spellman passed away at the end of 2020, and the Charitable Foundation was named to honor his contribution to our Lodge and all its endeavors.
